Austin Emerging Arts Leaders is a chapter of Americans for the Arts Emerging Leaders Network. Austin EAL is composed of passionate local arts practitioners, administrators, and advocates offering professional development opportunities and inclusive community building to support the sustainability of a broader, more diverse creative ecosystem in Austin. Austin EAL offers an annual mentorship program, pairing approximately five (5) emerging artists and arts administrators with leaders in their field or area of desired growth.
Musicians Union of Austin, TX. The Austin Federation of Musicians is the local chapter of the American Federation of Musicians of the U.S. and Canada. The Austin Local was founded in 1907 by local musicians who have achieved improvements to wages, working conditions and other issues relating to their employment by working together.

Our mission is to create creative cultural export programs for artists that call Austin home. ROJECT ATX6 is both an Austin music export project and a music documentary in the making. Each year, Project ATX6 selects 6 emerging Austin musicians to travel to international music festivals, attend business, marketing, and management workshops, and participate in a documentary film with the purpose of capturing and archiving Austin musician on the world stage.
Austin Film Commission provides information related to film, television, and commercial production including: permits and regulations, location database, incentives and grants, production directory, studio facilities, and additional resources.
AFTM supports traditional music and dance from the many different cultures and communities found in Austin and around the world. We encourage playing, learning, dancing, and sharing our musical heritage in its many forms as they evolve with each new generation.

The Austin Jazz Society is an Austin, Texas based non-profit formed in 2003. The Austin Jazz Society (AJS) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit music and service organization formed to support all jazz genres and increase awareness, appreciation and participation in the community. AJS presents educational programs, assists jazz artists, and promotes performances. We also recognize and honor the legacy of those local individuals and organizations that have made a positive contribution to the jazz art form.
The Austin Jazz Workshop is a nonprofit group of professional musicians dedicated to jazz performance and education in central Texas public schools. It was founded in 1994 and visits over one hundred elementary school campuses each year.
The mission of ALMA (meaning “soul” in English) is to increase knowledge and awareness in the community about local musicians and important historical figures in Austin’s Latino music scene, provide exposure and resources to local musicians, and to foster the development of young musicians who will keep Latino musical styles and traditions alive in the Capitol City.
