We meet in the Back Room (unless otherwise noted). We are a recreational group of dancers and musicians dedicated to promoting the exploration of the beautiful, flowing dances of Scandinavia and the lush, haunting music that accompanies it. Once a month (usually the last Wednesday, [email protected] to confirm) we host a dance, often featuring live music from community members and/or bands. The other Wednesdays are music nights, including open mics, jams, workshops, singing, and other learning opportunities. First Wednesdays: Singing at Holly if you have questions about music activities. Dance evenings include turning dances at all levels. You do not need to bring a partner, as partners are shared throughout the evening. Bringing or wearing leather-soled or slick-soled shoes will make turning easier.
