Since its founding in 2016, Austin Camerata has emerged as an ensemble leading the way in innovative chamber music performances in central Texas. We've partnered with BookPeople to offer free musical story time performances to Austin families. Austin Camerata works towards making all concerts financially accessible.

The Austin Chamber Ensemble was formed in 1981. Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1985, the Austin Chamber Ensemble has always had as major goals creative programming, performing new works, artist exchanges and educational presentations.

The Austin Chamber Music Center creates chamber music experiences that connect, educate, and inspire our community. ACMC offers numerous opportunities for musicians of all ages, levels, and interests, fostering a vibrant learning community that sparks creativity through collaboration.

Austin City Limits is a music performance television show that appears weekly on PBS. ACL is the longest-running music program in television history, the only television show to have been awarded the National Medal of the Arts, and was recently recognized by Time magazine as one of the 10 most influential music programs of all time. While there are MANY worthy artists and performers who are deserving of a slot on Austin City Limits, the reality is that we only produce thirteen episodes each year and can’t possibly include everyone who is worthy. Every performer who appears on Austin City Limits receives scale wages as set by the American Federation of Musicians.

The Austin Civic Orchestra (ACO) is a non-profit civic organization that has been around since 1977. To foster an appreciation for the transformative power of orchestral music through high-quality musical performances and educational experiences for the Austin community.

Created in 1975, the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble (ACWE) is a community ensemble formed of both amateur and professional musicians. It is the oldest civic band in Austin. ACWE rehearses every Tuesday from 7:30 - 9:30 and holds many free concerts throughout the year. The annual membership fee is $48 for adults and $36 for students and retirees. Membership fees help fund new music, promotion and instrument purchase/repair. All fees are tax-deductible.

Our mission at Austin Classical Guitar is to inspire individuals in our community through musical experiences of deep personal significance. Through nationally-recognized education programs in schools that engage thousands of young people every year to personalized engagement services in hospitals, clinics, and shelters that bring comfort and hope to people in crisis, to concert programming that showcases the talents of artists from around the world, ACG seeks to leverage the power of music to help people find connection, meaning, and joy.

A non-profit professional steelpan school. Our disadvantaged students lack developmental opportunities to use their intelligence and talent to make positive choices. We eliminate economic and social barriers by providing free transportation to access our free classes with instruments. As kids learn to play and perform, they develop both mental and social skills.

Our Mission: advance, connect and advocate for Austin’s arts, cultural, and creative communities to strengthen and protect the character, quality of life, and economic prosperity of our region. Membership options include student/emerging artists at $25 and working artists at $50, providing service access, and free or discounted entry to programs and events. Joining connects members to Austin's largest artist and organization network. ACA fiscally sponsors over 400 cultural events each year, empowering both emerging and established artists & organizations with access to funding, insurance and expertise.

The Austin District Music Teachers Association (ADMTA) is a professional organization of music teachers dedicated to the promotion of the art of music and the advancement of musical knowledge throughout the Austin area.
