The Musician Treatment Foundation (MTF) provides free and low-cost surgical and nonsurgical care for uninsured and underinsured professional musicians with shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries. MTF is committed to helping musicians maintain their livelihoods by offering treatment through a network of orthopedic surgeons, both at home and on tour. In addition to delivering care, MTF educates musicians on injury prevention, builds a physician network, and develops tools for remote continuity of care. Since its founding, MTF has provided over $2.7 million in treatment to musicians in need. The Music Maker Relief Foundation supports pioneering musicians of Southern musical traditions, providing assistance for artists aged 55+ with annual incomes under $18,000. Through programs like Musician Sustenance (basic needs and emergency relief) and Musical Development (professional support), the foundation helps artists meet daily needs while promoting cultural preservation. Music Maker also ensures the continuation of American musical traditions, offering grants and services for career advancement. MMMF offers a variety of programs that make music accessible to all, including "All Abilities Rock," which provides adaptive music education, workshops, and sensory-friendly experiences for individuals with disabilities, and "Play It Forward," which donates instruments and mentorship to low-income or at-risk individuals in exchange for their time and talent. "Feeding The Soul" brings musical performances to hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities, promoting healing and connection. MMMF also offers financial assistance for board-certified music therapy. Music Venue Alliance Austin (MVAA) unites Austin’s music venues to protect and preserve these essential spaces that support local talent and the music industry. MVAA advocates for policy changes to secure the future of iconic venues, enhance experiences for artists and audiences, and strengthen the venue community's voice in lobbying efforts. The Music Workers Alliance (MWA) is a collective organization advocating for independent music workers. MWA fights for fair pay, contracts, and working conditions in live venues and digital platforms. Their priorities include economic and social justice, ensuring equitable access for underrepresented groups, and protecting the rights of music workers at local and federal levels. MWA supports collective action to empower musicians and collaborates with aligned organizations to achieve these goals.

The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) leverages group negotiating power to provide its members with access to valuable benefits, including health insurance coverage. NASE endorses financially strong carriers that offer customized plans for self-employed individuals and small-business owners. Coverage includes benefits such as Accidental Death, Medco Health Prescriptions, Assist America Nurse Hotline, vision services, and hospital confinement and emergency room benefits, ensuring members can access tailored health and wellness resources.

The National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) represents music publishers and songwriters, advocating for their rights and interests in the digital age. NMPA works to protect intellectual property, ensuring creators are compensated fairly for the use of their music through policy, litigation, and licensing efforts. The organization plays a critical role in shaping laws and regulations that impact the music publishing industry.

Own Your Own Universe (OYOU) is a 501 C3 non-profit organization based out of San Marcos and Martindale, Texas. It is our mission to make the arts accessible to everyone, and particularly to empower and transform lives by connecting the mind, body, and spirit through music and the creative arts. We do this by offering low-cost and or free events, workshops, OYOUth activities, and women’s retreats. We also provide programs for those with special needs.
